Do you know someone that will love a pretty in pink party theme? Use these ideas to plan your next party, invite some friends for a tea party, a baby shower or get granny or auntie to help and surprise mom for Mother’s Day.

Invitation
Fold a sturdy piece of textured card stock and cut the edges with patterned craft scissors as per the photo. Fold another piece of pink paper and glue one side to the card so that you have a flap. Write the party details inside. Punch two holes on the opposite sides of the cardstock and close with a pink ribbon.

Goody Bag
Make or sew a pink drawstring bag, stencil a few hearts on the bag and fill it with goodies.

Place Settings and Decor
Paint an empty tin with white enamel, and let the paint dry. Glue a strip of decorative paper around the tin. Cut a heart out of a pink plastic lid. Use a glue gun and glitter glue stick to edge the heart and tin. Glue the heart onto a pink craft stick, and wrap a white chenille stem around the stick. Write the guest’s name on the heart. Place the heart into the tin filled three quarters with sand. Round it off by placing pink and white pom poms on top of the sand. Add a decorative butterfly.

Cover your table with a pink cloth and a white organza fabric. And don’t forget your pink flowers!

Drinks
Wash an empty glass bottle, and glue a pretty pink ribbon around the bottle. Tie a heart using a ribbon around the neck of the bottle. Fill bottles with red grape juice, pink lemonde or guava juice.

For mom: Dip the rim of a wine glass in lemon juice and colored sugar. Fill the glass with her favourite juice or mocktail.
Treats
Keep with the pink theme as far as possible. Some ideas: pink and white marshmallows, chocolate hearts, coconut ice etc. Also check out our Guava Mousse Tart recipe!

Chocolate Hearts
To keep to the pink theme, I made white chocolate hearts. The easiest way to melt your chocolate is in the microwave. Break the chocolate into small pieces, microwave on a medium setting for a few minutes, stirring frequently. Pour into moulds and leave to set. For added fun, you can add a few sprinkles to the melted chocolate before pouring it into the mould.
Coconut ice
This recipe makes about 20 pieces.
