Set up a playdough pizza pretend play activity and have fun with your child making “pizza” in their own pizza restaurant!

Welcome back to another week of play, play at home that is! We are at the letter P in our A-Z Play at Home Series and this week we had fun with Playdough Pizza Pretend Play!
We were fortunate enough to have received this totally awesome Playdoh kit so it did not cost us anything(the aim of this series)! You can, however, use whatever you have to. A round plate can make the pizza base, small red circles can be tomatoes, brown circles can be pepperoni, longs yellow strings can be cheese etc.

I set up the old computer stand again like in this grocery store pretend play activity . This was a kitchen area in the pizza restaurant or when opened up at the back it was a “Walk-thru”.

I made a pizza oven using a cardboard box and sponged-painted the bricks.

And we played Pizza Palace! My(then) 4.5 year old enjoyed making the pizza and my 7 year old enjoyed taking orders and playing the waitress.
It was fun, it was educational AND it kept the kids busy every afternoon for a week(until the playdoh was one colour, lol)!
If you do want to buy this awesome playdoh kit, get it HERE.
