Make your own tablet stand from LEGO! Such an easy, and useful DIY. This LEGO tablet stand makes a great gift too!

Today I have a super easy(and useful) project for you and your kids using LEGO- tablet stand!
My kids received tablets for Christmas and needed stands for them. I could not find any tablet stands in our shops, so we made these simple DIY versions, from LEGO!

You simply need a small baseplate and some rectangular blocks. The base plate will depend on the type and size of your tablet. We have the small Kindle type(Kindle Fire7), so this small baseplate worked great.
Build a low “wall”- two rows, and a higher “wall” for the back, about 4 rows. You can play with color combinations or just wing it like we did, lol!
Attach the walls to the baseplate. Best of all you can adjust the angle at which the tablet will stand by moving the walls closer or further apart. If you want it to be a permanent stand, you can glue the pieces together and to the baseplate. We are leaving it as is so that the “design” can be changed. It is sturdy enough without glue.

Our stands work with the tablets in a landscape or portrait position. The landscape position is good for watching videos/movies and the portrait position for reading(yes, mom does use it for Kindle reading too). It is small and compact enough to use in the car too!

An easy peasy LEGO project to make a useable stand for any tablet!
Thanks for this!!! Just about to buy 4 stands, but saw this
