One thing I am obsessed passionate about, is remembering my kids like they are at each stage of their life. One cannot possibly remember everything, even though one would like to, so I vowed to write down some of it. With this photo frame, I started to write down cute sayings, or rather mispronounced words at two years, around this recent photo. Writing it on wood chips makes this photo frame so pretty!
It is really easy to make. You need a photo, a piece of strong cardboard 5cm bigger than the photo, wood chips and a marker.
Glue the photo to the cardboard. Remember to use glue that is good for photos, usually it says non-toxic, it will not yellow the photo over time.
Place the chips around the photo before gluing it down, making sure it is the way you want it. Older kids will like to be involved in this step.
Add writing with a marker. I added his name and also his age. Then, I wrote on every second chip. I will add some the more he speaks.
And that is it, so easy! And a lovely keepsake of your child’s sayings/words at a certain age!
