Make a peg board in a flash to organise items in your classroom, kitchen or use it in your laundry room for all those annoying missing socks.

You will need:
- Hardboard 30x30cm
- Craft paint in different shades of orange
- Pegs
- Glue
- Sandpaper
- Stencil (optional)
- Double sided tape
What to do:
I used a 30x30cm board but you can make it any size and use more pegs depending on the purpose of the board. Lightly sand your hardboard and clean off the dust. Sanding the hardboard will give the paint a better surface to grip onto.

This cute fox stencil has been in my craft cupboard for ages. I wanted to keep my board in the color schemes of the fox. I painted the entire board in a light shade of orange. Once the paint was dry, I drew three wavy lines and painted them in slightly different darker shades of orange. I added yellow lines at the top and bottom of the darker orange.

Once the background was dry, I applied the stencil in the top corner and painted the fox, also in shades of orange.
I painted the pegs in different shades of orange and glued them with wood glue.

Once the glue was dry, I used double-sided tape to mount the board.
Tip – if you are going to use a stencil for your project, remember that a stencil brush works best and keep your brush a bit on the dry side. Too much paint on the brush will result in the paint bleeding underneath your stencil and ruining your picture.

You can easily adapt this idea for another theme, use blue waves for the ocean or green shades for dinosaurs, a black background, and planets for a space theme. Or paint rainbow colors and add a unicorn!
