Make a kids Easter basket or two reusing a small basket or even an egg carton lid. Just add a pretty beads handle!
Is this DIY Easter basket not too pretty? And it is really easy and inexpensive to make! The kids will love to make their own Easter baskets. Plus, threading on the beads for the handle is great fine motor practice too!
What you need:
- a small grass basket without a handle, you could use the lid from a small egg carton too and paint it first
- wire/pipe cleaner for the handle
- beads
- tissue paper
- cut-outs or stickers to decorate
What to do:
Thread the beads onto the wire/pipe cleaner and attach them to the sides of the basket.
Then add the stickers, cut-outs or whatever you have on hand to decorate with.
Lastly, place the tissue paper inside to round it off.
There ya go, a DIY Easter basket! Now, all it needs is eggs from an egg hunt!
Here is another version, reusing an egg carton. PS: Have you seen these Top Ten DIY Easter Baskets?
Fun idea: let the kids personalize their baskets by adding the letters of their names from cutouts or using glitter glue pens.
Have fun making Easter baskets with your kiddos!
Those are really cute! I love the beads on the handles!
Thanks Ashley!
