I am a sucker for reusing, recycling and upcycling items, but I guess it is a good thing, right?

I saw these big, sturdy boxes in one of the school store rooms, it was used for packing stationery, and ask if I could have it. I made these fab drawers for my office at school!

I stuck all four boxes together with duct tape(one could use more boxes if you have). Then I covered the boxes all around, except the front, with gift wrap. (I had this gift wrap already, otherwise I would have gotten the self adhesitive types skip on the gluing part).

The front were cut to make it flap open. Originally it just opened up like a normal box which you tuck in to close. I took the handles it came with off, covered it up with the wrap and then attached the handles again. I added some label tags for myself to know where is what. These drawers are perfect for the copied papers I use in therapy and keep it close to the work table for easy access.

A lovely and useful recycling project with big cardboard boxes! I bet you will keep an eye out for them too!
