Make stick puzzles reusing gift wrap paper and make puzzle as a lovely activity or even a gift!
All you need to make a puzzle like this is:
- Gift wrap
- Craft sticks
- Glue
- Sticky tape
- Marker
What to do:
Pack the craft sticks out, the same size as the piece of wrapping paper you are going to use. Stick them together with sticky tape, just temporarily, to keep them in place. Turn it around and glue the paper on, making sure all of the paper has glue on it. Write the message on the back before the next step. I forgot and had to write on loose sticks, not recommended! Oh, and the 3-year-old wanted to add his mark too:)
Cut the sticks loose by using the grooves between the packed sticks.
And done! I bind it together with a pretty ribbon or string and will use it as Valentine’s gift! Use different patterns of paper and you have different puzzles! For younger kids, use fewer sticks, for older ones, more sticks!
TIP: Pop these puzzle sticks into a bag and stash it in the car for long drives or waiting times!
