I rolled the dough out, aboutf 1cm in thickness. Then the kids helped pressing the shapes. We only did these shapes, but one can do all kinds of shapes!
Then I made holes for strings and added the words to and from with my fabulous Dough Stamps:
The gift tags were baked in the oven: 70’C for 3 hours and left overnight to air dry even more.
Next day: The pink and blue tags were spray painted and the egg shape was coloured with Sharpies as well as the bear:
I left two plain, but one can paint it too Or pre Colour the dough with food colouring. Also, I’ve seen lovely tags with imprints made to the dough using items like real leaves, doillies etc. I will definitely try that next time.
Strings were added and it is ready to be used as gift tags, salt dough gift tags!
