Are you all getting organized for this New Year? Here is a quick and easy project to do to organize those stationery lying all over the place: repurposing a plastic cutlery holder to a stationary holder!

Stationery holder

What you’ll need:
– a plastic cutlery holder. I’ve used a white one with three compartments
– patterned tape like duct tape
– scissors

I just winged the next few steps, without measuring, but that’s just me! You can work more precise if you’d like, and measure to get the middle.

I decided to only do strips, and not cover the whole holder.

It was a bit tricky getting it in a straight line, over and across. I used the scissors to press the tape little by little into the compartments, ensuring it stays straight.

Easy, frugal and nicely organized! That is what I call a successful project!
