It is Project: Recycle & Create time! This month we are reusing jars! We made a Washi tape photo jar, perfect as a vase(and gift for mom or gran)!

BTW, did you see last month’s project Egg Carton Mache?

For this project, we used a coffee jar, Washi tape and a photo.

materials

I cut the photo in a heart shape and stuck it in the middle of the jar, using a strip of tape at the sides:

My daughter tore small pieces of Washi tape and stuck it all over the jar:

It took a while, and with some help(she does not stay interested in a project for long) we finished it, too pretty right!

A string was added and some fake flowers(real flowers would be added when we give it to gran) for the photo. A pretty recycle craft, and useful too. It looks great when the sun shines through it!

I LOVE this idea. I am a big fan of washi tape and love what you have done with it. Very clever indeed
