Make an Easter egg sticker or two from Washi tape to decorate plain gift bags or cards!

It is that time of the month when some awesome kid bloggers show you our creative side by posting on a specific themed craft. This month we are making…..guess it, EASTER crafts! We made this cute DIY Easter egg sticker from Washi tape to decorate a gift bag.
I do love Washi tape, one can do so much with it, like this Valentine’s Day Card or these Gift Tags we made for Christmas last year.
This is a pretty easy craft, a tween/teen will be able to do this by him/herself, whereas younger children will need help.

I used two colors of Washi tape and made strips to stick over an egg-shaped template. I did this on a plastic sheet, to pull off easily when done
Then it was carefully cut with a craft knife.

It is not perfect, but when one sticks it down, you leave space between each strip, so it does not really matter.
I used the sticker on a plain gift bag, but one can use it for cards too. Or pretty up a plain lunch box to make your child a special Easter surprise lunch box, adding some Easter Fun Food!
I made a smaller egg sticker too and swapped the handles out with some pretty ribbon.

A pretty Easter egg sticker you can make with your kiddos!
Cute! I love that you have a hanging peg board for your gift bags. What a great storage idea! (Mine are languishing in a box).
This is such an easy and fun idea! I love it.
