I am busy with another upcycling project for my son’s room, but wanted to make something with his daddy’s tee for his room too, so I used it as a name sign- a Superman one to be exact for my superhero fan!  His old name sign made from baby clothes needed an update because he is such a big boy now!

I had a wooden frame I am not using at the moment, and used it together with the Superhero logo on the t shirt. I cut the sign out, a little smaller than frame.  Then, I stencil-painted my son’s name onto the material with fabric paint. I ironed the material at the back for a few minutes so the paint will set.

process  I added the glass to the frame and then stretched the shirt a bit and glued it with the glue gun.  I added another thick piece of cardboard to the back (with the glue gun) and simply made holes for the nails. This now hangs above his new bookcase(revealing it soon)!
