Here is a quick repurposing idea for you on this Earth Day 2017! Use a baby shirt to make a cute peg bag!
I have kept this 18-24 months shirt of my boy for a while now and could not part with it, it is just so cute! Today I had time and quickly sewed it into a peg bag. Here is how:
I sewed on the inside of the shirt as shown with the black stripes: the sleeves and the bottom openings were closed up. Then I cut the sleeves off:
Lastly, the hanger was added to hang the bag up:
I gave it a good iron and it is ready to be used! This upcycling project literally took me 10 minutes, so easy and a useful item indeed!
