Not all children like writing activities. That is the truth. Most children like craft activities. That is the truth too. Combine the two and your reluctant writers will be motivated to create a bulletin-worthy writing piece they can be proud of!
Writing craftivities make a mundane task a little bit more interesting and kids love showing it off in their classrooms. It does not have to be perfect either. Simply allow creativity to flow and writing will follow suit.
Add more bits and pieces to personalize it even more. Use scrapbook paper or poster cardboard to put the pieces together. You can use the provided printable writing lines, or, substitute them for writing lines your students use daily.
