Here is a cute Santa ten frame busy box or bag activity that your young kiddos will enjoy this festive season!

Practice number sense, specifically number recognition and counting out up to 10 with this fun activity! Plus, work on those fine motor skills too!
(PS: there is a similar digital version of this Santa Ten Frame activity here too!)
How to prepare this activity:
Print the free printable cards(see how to get them on our Freebies page below under “Christmas”). Cut the cards, you can laminate it too if you wish for it to keep longer. Add it to a busy box or bag with Christmas-themed mini erasers(I got these cuties at K-Mart) or simply mini pompoms. Provide tweezers/tongs and done!

How to use this Santa busy box:
Simply pick a card and count out that many pieces. Fill the ten frames, moving from left to right(it is a way we train the eyes to move because that is the direction in which we read).

After counting the erasers/pompoms out, count again to make sure you have the right amount of erasers.

Such a fun ten frame busy box activity that will definitely keep those little minds and hands busy for a bit!
