this (free) printable activity is loads of fun and develops number and color recognition in a sensory way!
Simply print and laminate, or use a dry-erase pocket, and provide a dice together with red, orange, yellow, green, blue and pink/purple playdough(PlayDoh).
The child rolls the dice, recognize the number on the dice and search for it in the rubric below the ball. He sees the number 5 is blue, finds the blue playdough and make the pattern under the blue dot. He can place it anywhere on the ball, so no two balls will look the same.
Carry on rolling the dice until the ball picture is filled to satisfaction!
