Some of our readers are entering the snow season! Here is a free printable Roll-a-Snowman playdough mat, perfect for preschoolers and kindys, perhaps as a busy bag or a playdough center?

Simply print and laminate the sheet (or use in a dry-erase pocket) so that it is re-usable. Provide a variety of colors of playdough/Playdoh, the same basic colors as I used on the printable.

Provide a dice/die that has markings up to 6. This can be a dice with dots or numbers, as long it has numbers(or dots) up to six. Throw the dice once and see what number it lands on. Look at the rubric below to see what color the hat, scarf and buttons must be. Use the color playdough to make the hat, scarf and buttons.

Then roll the dice again to see what color the hat must be, and again for the color of the buttons. It does not matter in what order it gets done, as long as you roll once for the hat, once for the scarf and once for the buttons.

Play again and again! Each time your snowman can look different! How fun! A great playdough mat idea for Winter. Pop it into a Ziploc type of bag with the playdough and dice and you have a fun snowman activity on the go! You can get this printable as a freebie on Freebie page, access below.
