This playdough spelling busy box is such a fun way to practice word building! Pair the printables with real playdough(Play-Doh) and you have a multi-sensory learning tool that can be used in a variety of ways!
We are on a mission to consolidate the basic sounds and spelling CVC words at the moment. Playdough is always a winner, hence this playdough spelling activity(and the rest of the Playdough Pack, see details below)!
You can simply use the playdough as a long tool to stand the playdough letters to spell the word as shown above. Or, make balls to place the playdough letters, each on their own ball(helping with the segmentation of sounds) as shown below.
You can also use the playdough to write the CVC word with a toothpick or use your letter beads to imprint the word. All of these are so fun to practice spelling!
