Make this Earth Day printable keepsake with your children and teach them about their responsibility to look after our planet.

Earth Day will be here soon! What are you doing this year to live more “green”? We have shared a few “recycle and create” ideas in this series. Do check it out! Today I have this FREE printable keepsake that you can make with the kids! (Also see our salt dough Earth Day photo and handprint keepsake.)

You will need:
- The printable at the end of this post
- green paint
- blue paint

Simply paint the child’s hand green, representing the land. Then add a few blobs of blue, representing the water.

Press the hand onto the paper, positioning the palm of the hand over the Earth picture. (I have adjusted the Earth picture a bit after we made our prints so that a bigger hand will fit easier.)
That is it! A lovely Earth Day handprint keepsake you can frame and keep forever as a reminder of Earth Day and our responsibility towards our planet!

I have added this printable to TeacherSherpa, do check it out! Or get it on our Freebie page, see how to gain access below!
