Earth Day is less than a week away! What fun learning activities have you done around the theme? If you still need a fun activity for your kindergarteners specifically, get these FREE clip/trace cards(link at the end of the post)! It’s perfect for counting, number recognition AND perfect for Earth Day!

Earth Day clip cards

You will need:

  • Color printer or access to one
  • White paper/cardboard
  • Laminating sheets/dry-erase pockets(optional)
  • Pegs/clothespins/paper clip
  • Washi tape(optional)
  • Dry erase marker(optional)
clip cards

Totally optional step: Pretty up your pegs with the Washi tape, or simply color with a marker.

Let the students use the pegs (or laminate and use with a dry erase marker) to show the correct number. This involves counting and number recognition. PS- Using pegs help with fine motor skills too.

Make a small mark at the back of the card behind the correct answer for self checking.

        Hi!

I am not able to access this either – the page won’t open after entering the password, and I took off the pop-up blocker but that didn’t fix it.

This looks really great, and I appreciate you sharing, but I’ve been unable to access it all morning 🙁

[…] Press the hand onto the paper, positioning the palm of the hand over the Earth picture. (I have adjusted the Earth picture a bit after we made our prints so that a bigger hand will fit easier.) That is it! A lovely Earth Day handprint keepsake you can frame and keep forever as a reminder of Earth Day 2018! I have added this printable to TeacherSherpa, do check it out! If you are looking for a fun counting activity for Earth Day, check out these Clip/Trace Counting Cards! […]
