Make a cute toy truck planter by turning an old broken toy into a lovely addition to your garden!

Today we are joining in the series Junk Play Challenge by Best Toys 4 Kids. Our item is ‘Broken Toys’ and we used this toy truck as a planter!

Toys get broken all too often, sometimes it is the children, and sometimes the DOGS! The dogs chewed up these toy truck wheels, so it does not work properly anymore. Such a shame, though, it’s only been around since December when my son got it for Christmas. But, when you don’t look after your toys and don’t bring them in after you played outside, it happens!

Luckily, mommy is all for recycling or reusing, so this is what we did. We found a space for it in our Real Play Garden, and “planted” it.

Then we added the soil and flowers.

Lastly, it got watered.

And that is it, so easy, but so pretty: a toy truck planter that is a cute addition to our play garden!
