Heathy teeth are so important, yet most kids fight about it. I hope this fun tooth fairy article with free printables will help you out.

My oldest son lost his very FIRST tooth yesterday so I was super excited to make this a fun, memorable moment for him. I made sure we cleaned it, put it in his little personalised bag (we received as a gift) and once he was asleep the “tooth fairy” came to visit – with glitter!

I got to working on a little tooth fairy “kit” – it includes a door notice, a lost tooth tracker and a letter from the tooth fairy. It is a free printable, available in purple or green and you can get at the end of this article. Laminate the door notice after writing your kid’s name and keep the letters and tracker in a file.

I also wanted to add in a bit of a lesson about teeth. Seeing as we’re homeschoolers – there’s a lesson wherever you look. I found an informative tooth labelling activity on A Little Pinch of PERFECT.

We watched 2 YouTube videos on one of our most loved channels, Peekaboo Kidz. The first video is about How Your Teeth Work? The second video is about What Causes Bad Breath?

I also found this cute Healthy Teeth Sort from The Printable Princess. I printed it and I had my boys sit on the floor and we discussed it and did this together, you could print it for each kid and then have them cut it out and sort it by themselves.

The last activity we did was another free printable you can get at the end of the article. I printed one for each of my kids, laminated it and gave them dry erase markers to draw “germs” and then they used old toothbrushes to clean them. They loved it. Add dice and roll dice to count how many germs to draw or to brush away,

I love seeing all my kids going through all the milestones and am loving being able to add a bit of (learning) fun to it. I hope you enjoy having some tooth fairy fun.
