Do you have children that struggle with the “groups of” concept? Teach it hands-on with this groups of frogs activity, it is fun and visual too!

Visualising math concepts like multiplication help children to understand them. Physically counting out the frogs and placing them into the ponds are not just fun, but make the concept stick!

How to prepare this froggy activity:
Print the FREE printable pages. Laminate and cut the frogs. You can also laminate the pond cards, or just use a dry-erase pocket. Grab the playdough and dry-erase marker. That is it!

How to use these printable:
Choose the printables suited for your child/students. You might choose to work only work with one and two ponds/groups and a low number of frogs to start with, just until the concept sticks. Totally up to you.

The ponds represent the groups and the frogs the countable object. Add the frogs to the ponds using the playdough. Write the number of groups(ponds) and the frogs. Count it all to get the answer and write it down too.

Have fun practicing multiplication skills, or “groups of” understanding with this froggy activity!
