This is is a fun craft to do during a Spring Theme, or whenever you feel like it! It is great for so many skills too, read on to see more…
What you need:
– card board of some sort
– a photo
– pieces of tissue paper
– glue
What to do:
– place the photo down first
– tear small pieces of tissue paper, about 10cm x 3cm strips
– now scrunch, squash and roll tissue paper pieces
– glue them around the photo, close to each other
This spring flower activity was hard work, fine motor skills are being put to use when pressing the glue out the bottle, tearing the paper, squashing and rolling the paper and to place onto the glued spot (also hand eye coordination there).
Of course creativity is also developed and self satisfaction to see the end result after all the hard work!

We are going to put this frame on Lella’s door for a name board for springtime.
