If you are entering “pumpkin season” and working on teen numbers and teen sums with your students, then this teen sums pumpkin patch activity is just for you!
Simply print and laminate the free printable pages, or use a dry-erase sleeve. Provide playdough or any other manipulative that can represent the pumpkins the student can use for counting out.
Pick a card, then make the sum with the dough/manipulatives to add to the pumpkin patch and get the answer.
You can either pack the “pumpkins” like ten frames to make counting easier. Or simply count it out randomly to fill the pumpkin patch to find the answer.
