Here is a Summer printable for our Northern Hemisphere(and Southern ones in a few months) friends- Summer Counting Cards! Aren’t they colorful!

Get your preschooler to practice counting skills during the holidays in a fun way! Laminate these cards and use them with a dry-erase marker or playdough- forming the numbers and counting out with pieces of dough. Or, use any other type of manipulative to count, 1:1 correspondence.

Counting activities like these are great for practicing one-to-one correspondence because it is hands-on and involves more than one sense to learn.

Combine it with a variety of colored manipulatives and you have a color recognition activity too! Not to mention developing finger strength when picking up the pieces..

A fun way to sneak in counting practice during Summer! Add this to a small bag and keep it in the car for an on-the-
go activity!
