Simple Pot Plant Makeover

This pot plant has been bothering me for a long time, it needed a makeover! By simply using old jeans and a pretty flower, it looks so much better, right?

So I basically cut up the Jean pants like shown in the image below. Guessing on which part of the pants will be wide enough for the pot to easily, but snugly fit around. My son asked me what I was doing, and I said: “I’m dressing the pot!”. He thought it quite strange, lol!

I slipped it on and rolled it up a bit to hide the cut part (also to finish off the look), but also to tighten it a bit more.

Lastly, a pretty fake flower was added with a glue gun. Originally I thought of adding buttons or something, but I like the flower better.

A very simple makeover project, one your older kids can even help with. And it reuses items, perfect for this month: Earth Day month.
