Put together a shape puzzles busy bag using craft foam and let your young children learn about shapes in a fun way!

It is time for a few of us kid bloggers to show you some activity ideas according to a theme: Back-to-School! Ours is a shape puzzle busy bag! Because shapes and puzzles are two things your child will learn about early on!

These shape puzzles were easy to make. You only need craft foam, cardboard or felt. I used craft foam since I had some on hand.

I used a few objects to draw the shapes onto the craft foam, then cut it out:

The shapes were cut into pieces. I cut it up into a maximum of 4 pieces because I want my 2.5-year-old to also play with it. You could cut it into more or fewer pieces depending on the age of your child.

These foam pieces could also be used to create pictures.

These shapes go into a bag for when we travel. What is great is we also use it in the bath too, because it sticks to the side of a bath, so when we visit family, this comes in handy during bath time(it stick to the bath walls)!
