Reuse a plastic bottle to make a kid-friendly recycled watering can! Perfect for little hands to water the garden, wash their toys and use for messy play outside.

Spring has sprung and out comes the watering cans! If you only have a big, uncomfortable one like us that is not kid-friendly, make your own by reusing a plastic bottle!

We had nice weather this weekend, but no rain yet, all is still so dusty and dry. We decided to water the plants, but the watering can we have is a bit too big for Lella to carry, so I made her one out of a plastic 2 litre milk bottle. Simply make some holes in the lid, and voila, you have a recycled watering can.

Of course, it did not stay at watering the plants, Lella decided to make some mud. Playing she is “washing” her cart.

The messier, the more fun it is!

After the messy play we used our recycled can to clean up as well!

There you have a kid-friendly recycled watering can, perfect for little hands to water the garden or for messy play!
