Reuse scraps of fabric to make a colorful rainbow scrap fabric wreath to brighten up your door!

Last month we showed you ways to recycle and create with Gift Wrap. This month we are recycling scrap fabric! We made this pretty rainbow wreath!

material needed

I had been given some fabric scraps a while ago and never gotten around using it. When I brainstormed what to do this month, I found these scrap pieces and they were coincidently (almost) rainbow colours, except for the purple. That I had leftover from another project(Upcycled Dollhouse Project).

loop method

I cut the fabric into strips, about 300 mm by 20 mm. Then I cut a paper plate as shown in the picture above. I used the method where you loop the ends through the same strip, see the picture below.

I tied 4 strips of each colour next to each other in the order of rainbow colours. Lastly, a ribbon was added to be able to hang it up.

This colorful rainbow scrap fabric wreath adorns our door now! Too pretty, right?
