Make rainbow matching puzzles for your toddler with these free rainbow printables!

Your toddler(or preschooler) will love these simple rainbow matching puzzles! You can simply print and laminate these puzzles, or make them easier to handle by sticking them to cardboard as I did here.
Did you know that matching activities like these are great to practice visual discrimination skills? Before attempting a jigsaw puzzle with your toddler, do these 2 part matching puzzles a few times to practice the part-part-whole concept.

How to make the puzzles
Simply download it from our Freebies page. Then, cut the pieces and glue them onto a piece of cardboard.

Use runny glue to “podge” over the pictures to make them more durable. Be careful not to overdo it as the printed color could start to come off.

Let it dry completely before cutting out the puzzle pieces.

And there you have lovely rainbow matching puzzles that will keep your toddler entertained for a while. TIP: pop them into a small Ziploc bag and keep them in your diaper or handbag as an on-the-go activity(busy bag activity). It might come in handy when you are waiting at an appointment or in a restaurant.
