This planting flowers fine motor practice activity is a fun way to work on fine motor skills for young children during Spring!

You will need:
- Flowers(you can use ready-cut craft foam flowers, make your own, or use the FREE printable on our Freebies page, see access instructions at the end of the post)
- Craft sticks
- Egg carton
Color in the flowers. Make two of the same color to use as a color matching activity too! Cut out the flowers and attach them to the craft sticks. Use an egg carton box(or any other box) and make slits in the box so that the sticks will slide in. You can paint the box if you prefer to look like a garden patch.

Get planting. Plant the flowers randomly, or look for pairs to plant together.
Extension activities:
- Add numbers or letters to the flowers and to the box to match the flowers to the correct slit.
- Plant in the correct order(numerical or alphabetical)
- Plant to spell a word like we did in THIS activity!

This Garden Memory Game is part of a Garden Pack that is perfect for Spring learning for preschoolers and kindys.
