Plant popsicle stick flowers and work on fine motor skills too!
You will need:
- Flowers(you can use ready-cut craft foam flowers, make your own, or use the FREE printable at the end of the post)
- Craft sticks
- Egg carton
Color the flowers in. Make two of the same color to use as a color matching activity too! Cut out the flowers and attach to the craft sticks. Use a egg carton box(or any other box) and make slits in the box so that the sticks will slide in. You can paint the box if you prefer to look like a garden patch.
Get planting. Plant the flowers randomly, or look for pairs to plant together.
- Add numbers or letters to the flowers and to the box to match the flowers to the correct slit.
- Plant in the correct order(numerical or alphabetical)
- Plant to spell a word like we did in THIS activity!
