Make a Spring flowers by reusing recyclables and gift it to someone special!

Apparently it was Teacher Appreciation day on the 5th of October(we missed it somehow), so we decided to make something for Lella’s teacher, just to show her some love. Flowers are always a nice gesture, and something handmade, so we combined the two and made these lovely flowers in a vase, everything from our recycling storeroom. (Yes, we have a whole room full of stuff we can use for crafts, heaven!)

What you need:

– egg cartons, cut like flowers
– kebab sticks
– glass juice bottle
–Tissue Paper
– paint
– Mod Podge (Or diluted school glue)

What to do:

Cut the egg carton pieces to look like flowers(step for an adult). Paint the cardboard flowers and let them dry.

Cut or tear pieces of tissue paper. Stick the paper onto the bottle with the mod podge.

Paint the sticks too and glue them onto the egg carton flowers. Once dry, add the flowers to the bottle vase and tie a ribbon or string around to finish it off!

She was so chuffed with her Spring flowers gift to give to her teacher!

This was fun craft and frugal too! We love recycling crafts, don’t you?
