My son loves playdough and so does his cousin. The other day they wanted to play with some, and it turned out our current chocolate batch went bad. So out came a new batch: no cook Apple playdough they made themselves! (Recipe from The Imagination Tree)

I’ve asked my blogging buddies for more no cook recipes. You’ll find 30 more at the end of this post.

Like I said, the littlies helped with the mixing. And it went real quick.

We made a red and a green batch, and called it Apple dough. One could add Apple fragrance oil too, (like this one from There’s Just One Mommy and Danya Banya) but we did not have any on hand. They played for a while, and later my daughter wanted to “bake” some Apple cookies. (All her idea) I sent some home with cousin too!

I usually like to make cooked microwave dough, because it lasts so much longer. But this is a great alternative for when you want to involve the kids in the making process.

Homemade play dough is always fun, especially when the kids are involved in making it.
You have an awesome list of doughs to try. Thanks so much for including our apple-scented bubble dough in your list!
