Make fresh lavender bath salt using only 3 ingredients, one of which you might find in your garden. Makes a great gift too!

Do you have lavender plants growing in your garden? We have, and it is the easiest and prettiest of all plants! And useful too! I made these bath salts from the fresh flowers, and it smells divine, just in time for Mother’s Day!
This bath salt only calls for 3 ingredients: Epsom salt(I used about 230g), fresh lavender flowers and a few drops of lavender oil! You could play around with different oils too, perhaps a lemon-y oil with the lavender will go well together too!
Involve the kids by letting them harvest the fresh lavender(just making sure there are no bees around), adding the buds to the bottle, scooping the salt with a small spoon into the bottle, and shaking gently. I repurposed a glass sauce bottle. One could use any mason jar or pretty container.
Lavender is known for its relaxation properties, and Epsom salt too. So this combination would be a lovely treat for any tired mama! Use in the bath or to soak and rub tired feet.
This lavender bath salt will make the perfect Mother’s Day gift! A quick, and frugal gift idea, but oh so lovely! PS: Have you seen this Bath Tea gift?
