Find fun Christ-centered Easter ideas here that will help you to make Easter more meaningful for your children.

So many Christian holidays have turned into secular holidays: forgetting the true reason for the holiday, and just having a holiday for the sake of it. That is why I love this post from  Sisters Raising Sisters, explaining so beautifully the biblical aspect of Easter, or Passover. With that, here are some kid-friendly Easter activities you can do with your children this Easter to keep Jesus as the center.

Make an Easter Cross like we did last year, using egg cartons, a pretty Collage cross from tissue paper. And I love this Keepsake Cross idea too!

Use Plastic Easter Eggs as a way to tell the Easter story, or use them together with small lights or glow sticks for a Night egg hunt.

These Empty Tomb Rolls explain Jesus’ resurrection and don’t forget to make Pretzels, but first read up on its history, such interesting history behind it.

Give a little gift of Jelly Beans with a card, where each color explains the meaning of Easter or make a Resurrection Garden with the kids help.

Chestnut Grove Academy has lovely traditions for a Christ-Centered Easter, and see these lovely book recommendations.

Let us remember Christ as the reason for Easter celebrations by doing meaningful Christ-centered activities with our kids!
