Make sweet stockings using deli paper! An inexpensive way to personalise the party bags for your kiddos!

We will be spending Christmas with a bunch of family friends and I’m in charge of the dessert(we will have a chocolate fountain, yum!) and the kids party packs(naturally)!
This is what I’ve made for them: Party Sweet Stockings from deli paper!
I’ve never sewn paper before and thought it would be a bit tricky, but it was not, really!
This is how the stockings were made:
First, I used a felt stocking as a template to trace and cut two sides per stocking:
Like this:
Then I sew them together:
The sewing took me less than 5 minutes per stocking. It did move a little bit, so I just trimmed it again to fix it up:
Lastly, we(my daughter helped with this step) added cotton wool to the top and that is it!
I’ll add the kids’ names with glitter so that they know which one belongs to whom.

We(again with kid help) filled the stockings with all kinds of goodies, and the sweet stockings are all ready for our Christmas party!
