A fun tradition to start is an end of year interview. Kids of all ages can participate and even adults too! It is great to look back and remember the year AND to look forward to the new year coming.
I update this interview page every year and let my kids fill it out(sometimes with help) as a keepsake. In a few years’ time, the answers the kids gave will be very special, a give a glimpse into what was important for them at that stage and how they perceived their lives at a certain stage.
