It’s Rhyme Time! Last week we had fun making teapot magnets to go with the rhyme ‘I’m a Liitle Teapot”.
This week we have the rhyme ‘Old McDonald’, and who doesn’t love that rhyme? We made cute farm animal puppets from wooden picnic spoons:
What you need:
– Wooden spoons (It can be the picnic ones or regular wooden spoons, or even popsicle sticks with a circle attached)
– googly eyes
– other decorative items
We drew the faces of the farm animals with the markers first. I did a few examples, but the kids could use their own creativity to make other animals if they wished. We had a duck, dog, pig, cow, horse and funny looking sheep! Then we added the googly eyes.
