Here is a fun busy bag activity, a magnetic fishing busy bag, you can put together for your child to have hours of playing fun!

I used some of the felt pieces I made for our Ocean Felt Busy Box, added it to a round tin lid together with a DIY magnetic fishing rod, and voila, a compact activity for on-the-go! (Add these items to a ziploc type bag to use as a busy bag.)

What you need(find most of it HERE):
- Felt
- Googly eyes
- Paper clips
- Magnet
- String
- Craft stick
- Tin lid(or any shallow round item)

What to do:
Cut fish, water, seagrass, rocks etc. from the felt. Attach the googly eyes and the paper clips to the fish. Make the “fishing rod” by attaching the string to the craft stick and the magnet to the string. I simply used tacky glue but for a permanent option, you could use a glue gun. Let your child arrange the pieces as he/she wishes.
Ready to play “catch” the fish! See how quickly you can catch the fish, or catch it by color. Add numbers or letters to the fish and catch in order. Close your eyes and see if you can aim correctly to catch a fish!

Get the above free printable to color and cut your own fish, or use it as a template to cut felt fish, by following the FREEBIE ACCESS instructions at the end of the post.
