Here is a fun idea for you today: a felt cookies baking set! This is great as a quiet time or travel activity or for pretend play. This felt set makes a great gift too! (Also check out these Fun Felt Busy Box Ideas
This fun set is also very easy to make. You will need:
- a baking sheet
- beige/brown-ish felt
- cookie cutter(I used a star)
- mini pompoms/felt pieces
- play roller and spatula
Use the cookie cutter as a stencil to draw and cut the cookies out of the felt BUT cut out without cutting the whole felt sheet into pieces. The easiest way is to make a small snip and then push the scissors through and cut on the lines.
That’s it for prepping!
Now for playing!
Roll, cut and decorate! Use the tools to pretend play and the mini pompoms or other felt pieces to “decorate” the cookies!
Such a fun little baking set made with felt, in less than 10 minutes!
