Help your children to make their own gift snack crackers for teachers, friends or family and have a special Christmas!
We made these gift snack crackers for all the teachers and assistants at Lella’s school as a thank you gift just before Christmas.
What we used:
– cellophane sheets
– gift wrap
– ribbon
– paint swatches
– chocolates
– nuts (popcorn also looks nice)
What we did:
The cellophane sheet I cut into rectangles about 12cm x 8cm. We then rolled it up, stuck a strip of clear sticky tape to keep it in place. The gift wrap was cut about 15cm x 9cm and rolled around the one end, stuck down and closed up with the ribbon. Then the chocs or nuts was added(easy for a toddler to help with), and then closed up again with the gift wrap and ribbon.
The tags I made out of the paint swatches. Used a Christmas tree punch, thread the ribbon through and added the words : “Have a cracking Christmas!”.
A crackin’ idea that all the teachers appreciated! Make your own gift snack crackers with your kids today!
