Colorful fish or color matching fish! A fun activity to match the colors of the fish and their bubbles to develop fine motor skills and color recognition too!
This is a great Ocean\Under the Sea or Summer themed printable activity for your preschoolers to work on those color matching and fine motor skills! (Do see this printable- Color Matching Butterflies for Spring!)
What to do:
Simply print out the (free) printable on our FREEBIES page-access and download instructions at the end of this post. Add a few colorful items(I keep a little box with these items close by) and tweezers/tongs as an invitation to strengthen those fingers(perfect for the finger gym center)!
Small items can include:
- mini pompoms
Laminate your printable(or add to a reusable pocket) to protect it. There you have a great color matching and fine motor activity with minimal prep!
Just a side note- you know your kiddos, so if any of them would mouth these small items, rather skip this activity or use edible items such as Fruit Loops;)
Last tip: to avoid having small items all around the table/ floor, set this activity up on a soft surface like a blanket/ felt mat. This will keep the “rollables” from rolling of the table!
