Make these easy bee crafts in a flash with your kids. It is cute, super easy and fun to make too!

Layered Paper Bee

You will need:
- FREE Bee Template (or use your own)
- Sturdy cardboard in yellow, black and blue
- Googly eyes
- Chenille stems/pipecleaners
- Marker pen
- Carbon paper

What to do:
Print the template, A4 or larger if you want to display the bee on your classroom wall. Use carbon paper and trace the individual parts onto the coloured paper. Start with the yellow for the body and head, next do the stripes and lastly the wings. Trace a bit of an overlap onto the wings, as the wings will be glued to the back of the body.
Cut the parts out, layer the stripes over the body and glue. Glue the wings behind the body. Use a white pencil and give the wings a bit of shading. Finish the bee by adding googly eyes, bend the chenille stems to form the antennae and draw a smile on the face.
To make the queen bee, trace the body and wings slightly larger than the template and add a crown.
