Even painted with marbles? Painting with water beads give the same effect. It is an interesting activity for toddlers and older kids.
What you need:
– a box
– paper cut to fit into the box
– paint
– water beads(or marbles, small balls etc.)
Squirt some paint onto the paper that is in box, add the beads.

Move the box around so that the beads roll through the paint making interesting patterns.
We first used all the beads and it looked like this:
With only a few beads it looked like this:
We will be using this patterned paper in other projects like making cards for example (will update with a photo when we do).
Why don’t you try it with your kids, it is not messy at all and it is really an interesting activity for them do do. Mix colours if you want to and see what happens!
