Are you working on counting with your preschooler? Get these cute ladybug counting cards(also see Bee Counting) and count away all while working on fine motor skills too!

Simply print and laminate(or use a dry erase pocket) the ladybug cards to make sure they will last. This set goes up to number ten, perfect for the little ones! (Also see our I-Spy Bugs Sensory Bin and BUGS Preschool Pack) Instructions to download from our FREEBIES page below.

If you don’t have mini ladybug erasers, use mini red pompoms and just dab a few black spots on them to look like ladybugs! Provide a plastic tweezer or tong for the child to use to pick up the pompoms and place them on the card, working on fine motor skills.

I have included one card with no numbers. You can use any number with that one or use a dice. Roll the dice twice and count the ladybugs out to see what the sum is! This is a great way to extend this activity for your older or more advanced learners.

Compare numbers by packing two cards out and see which one has more/less ladybugs. All fun learning for your young ones during a ladybug theme/unit!
