Wondering what a digraph is? It is two sounds that are put together to form a new sound. A digraph differs from a blend because one can still hear the two individual sounds in a blend. For example: the digraph “ng” is one sound, but the blend “nd” is still two sound that just flows into each other.
Digraphs are harder to “get” because it makes a new sound. But, with lots of practice and fun activities, it can be done!
Here are some of our digraph activities, some are free, others not but it only costs a small amount.
