Sensory bags are great for when you just can’t handle another messy activity! Don’t get me wrong, we love Messy Play and believe it is of vital importance, but some days you just don’t want to deal with that mess, right? This Winter themed aka Frozen sensory bag is fabulous!
For this bag I used about 4 table spoons of hair gel and an equal amount of water. Then we added some items: glitter, snowflakes, small star confetti and pompoms(2 of the same colour).
First, it was taped around with pretty tape, just to make sure it won’t leak. Then we added the gel, water and other items. Closed the top again with tape.
And then it was playtime! Both kids had a turn to touch it, it actually feels cold. Then they played the game of find the friends: moving the same colour pompoms to each other.
We stuck it to the window to see how different it looked and it is a great way to work on a vertical surface(good for shoulder girdle muscles).
