I am SO excited to introduce to you the Virtual Busy Bag Exchange Series!

Virtual Busy Bag Exchange Series

Basically, a busy bag is an activity in a bag of sorts, that is portable and mostly mess free, (and that can be played with over and over again) which makes it perfect for traveling, at church and/or waiting at the doctor’s office.

This is a lovely example of a few busy bag activities in one folder from Mama.Papa.Bubba (Portable Activity Kit for Little Travellers).

For more details on what she put inside and for another version, just for boys, please pay her a visit!

Have you ever heard of a Busy Bag Swap? Moms get together and bring an activity they’ve put together in a bag, and exchange it with each other. That way the kids get different, unique busy bags made by the different moms, having a collection of unique activities to keep their children busy/occupied/entertained in the previous mentioned circumstances. This is a frugal way of collecting different activities, and before your child gets bored with the specific activity bag, you swap it out again, having a “new” activity each time! Clever hey!

My creative co-hosts and myself will be “swapping” out busy bag ideas in the next week! Each day will be focused on a specific age group, so tune in whenever it suits your child(ren) age category, or everyday, since you can use these ideas to make awesome gifts too! And use these ideas for when you will be traveling during the holidays!

Here are the links to the co-hosts. These links will take you to the Virtual Busy Bag Exchange Series posts as it goes live on the specific days!
